The Falls

Iguazu Falls, Brazil

An amazing site to see and the main reason for visiitng this city, the falls of Iguazu are absolutely mesmerizing. Used as a boarder between Argentina and Brazil, this amazing (should be) natural wonder of the world is a place to spend your entire day taking in the various falls lining the Iguazu river. There are many different areas from which to marvel at these natural sites, you can even take a boat ride in for a closer and wetter look. The largest of the falls named "The Devils throat" (Garganta del diablo) is the most impressive of all and the waterfall physically seperating the two countries with 67% being on the Argentine side.

If you are viewing from the Argentinan side you will find yourself in Puerto Iguazua and within the park grounds you will find there are a few look out spots to view the many different sides and faces of the falls. There is also the opportunity to see smaller waterfalls along the Argentinian side of the Iguazu river. If you are viewing from the Brazilian side you will find yourself in Foz do Iguaçu, and with the opportunity to have a unique view from the lower level of the Devil´s throat falls, taking a look upwards as the million gallons of water flows over the edge.
